This is a performance improvement paper and how improving workflow improves patient experience, by reducing wait-times. use press-ganey articules and other turn around times articles supporting the information. Include a one on one meeting with my Finance team, Patient experience team, and three meeting with patients. With Finance team we saw increase in patient volume once we implemented changes, improvement in workflow drove revenue up. Dates( Jan 2015) compared to lower volume in Dec 2014 with our old process.
Process improvement changes, no more calling patients name out in the lobby,and allowing patients to wait in the lobby for long times.Changes made provide service to patient within 15 mintues, if any delays, inform patient of any delays, greet with warm care and excorte patient to procedure area, no more calling patient name in the lobby. We approach the patient directly and ask what is their name .. dates, same as finance dates.
Patient feedback. They want quick and campassionate care, want to be treated as a human not a number. if any delay they want to be alerted quickly.. and they dont want to wait more than 15 mintues to get a procedure done. please use this data to write the paper.
